Abstract

The objective of this paper is to make known and clarify that sorghum in pig diets can replace corn in their feed due to its nutritional characteristics and the type of improved varieties that contain a lower concentration of anti-nutritional factors. It is necessary to disseminate information about the nutritional properties of sorghum among producers, so that they have the possibility of a wider range of ingredients. In conclusion, the inclusion of sorghum as an energy ingredient in the diet of pigs can replace up to 100% of corn.
